Vanessa is a mum of two beautiful boys. During her breastfeeding journey she faced tongue ties, low weight gain, postnatal depression, feeding strikes and having to return to study. Vanessa was able to overcome these challenges and grew to love her breastfeeding experience. She is passionate about breastfeeding, and helping other mums overcome their breastfeeding hurdles. Vanessa is a registered nurse and works as a Tamariki Ora nurse and is part of the Natural Birth Southland committee.
