My husband and I live on a small lifestyle block just outside of Invercargill with out two children, Katie (Born 2015) who is our first biological daughter and Tyler (three weeks older than Katie) who is our foster son. I have thoroughly enjoyed my breastfeeding journey thus far with Katie, which I credit to the awesome on-going support I have had. I have seen many friends and family give up on breastfeeding for various reasons and revert to saying " I couldn't breastfeed". I believe nearly every mum who wishes to breastfeed can indeed do so with the right support. which led me to completing my breastfeeding peer support training. I want to help other mums be successful and enjoy breastfeeding as much as I have. It's so worth it, with knowledge and support you can be empowered to make the right choices for you and your family and be confident and successful in these choices.
