I have two girls, Evie who was born in 2011 and Thea born in 2015. My breastfeeding journey with Evie was on the most part great, although there were still some small bumps along the way! Thea has shown me how different two children can be in their behaviours, with a few feeding issues including a slight tongue tie, poor latch and a couple of bouts of mastitis within the first few months. The second time round I have a great support system which helps when things a rough. I am dedicated to helping other mums on their breastfeeding journey with information and support. Sometimes all it takes is someone to tell you that you are doing a good job!
Peer Supporters are not medical professionals, but are volunteers trained to provide information and support through common challenges to the normal course of breastfeeding.
