I live in Waldronville with my husband, and three children aged 7, 5, and 5.I am very passionate about supporting parents, especially in those early days when everything feels so overwhelming. I chose to do this course so that I could support friends, family, and the wider community with their breastfeeding journey. You can never have too much support when it comes to breastfeeding and learning how it will work for you and your family. I have had experience with oversupply, undersupply. latch issues, traumatic birth, breastfeeding post csection, finger feeding, chronic blocked ducts, pumping milk, breastfeeding around surgery, extended breastfeeding, and also making the difficult decision to stop breastfeeding long before I wanted to. I work part time during the day but am available in the evenings.
Peer Supporters are not medical professionals, but are volunteers trained to provide information and support through common challenges to the normal course of breastfeeding.
