I am passionate about helping other parents learn about breastfeeding and why it is important in the first year of a babies life. I was born in New Zealand and breastfed. I decided to become a peer supporter because I personally wasn't sure on breastfeeding my first child but once I did and got through those first six weeks I had no regrets. I have breastfed two babies and am still breastfeeding my 8 month old girl.
Peer Supporters are not medical professionals, but are volunteers trained to provide information and support through common challenges to the normal course of breastfeeding.
