Kia ora! I'm Kerry-Lee and I have three beautiful children! All of them were/are still breastfed, although some with more success than others. All of my children were born via C section, and I am a staunch advocate for breastfeeding in theater in the event of C section. My youngest son also had a very significant tongue tie and lip tie that was misdiagnosed. I really love to help Mums achieve their feeding goals and give them the support they may need to be confident and informed in their feeding journey. Outside of my peer support role you will find me at our local Playcentre, hanging out with our pony at Pony Club, or with my head in my textbooks as I'm a Childbirth Education student.
Peer Supporters are not medical professionals, but are volunteers trained to provide information and support through common challenges to the normal course of breastfeeding.
